WHEATSTONE DIGITAL MIXER GSX-2424

The GSX-2424 brings together all of Wheatstone’s innovations in a ready-to-use console/control surface that can easily handle the changing functions of modern broadcast studios. It is a turnkey console based on our LXE, the first fully customisable control surface for IP audio systems.

Although delivered fully configured and ready to go, the GSX-2424 is customisable. Virtually every knob, every button, every display can be programmed to accommodate virtually any application you can think of using our optional ConsoleBuilder™ software.

In addition, features such as Automix, Layers, ScreenBuilder™, Smart Switch panels and IP accessories can be added at any time to adapt your GSX-2424 to your changing needs.

The modular design of the GSX-2424 allows for flexible installations. The 4-fader input modules (or the 2-fader, 3-space master module) can be recessed directly into your desk, easily partitioned to suit your needs, and connected to your network with a single CAT6 cable.

GSX-2424 integrates seamlessly into the WheatNet-IP intelligent network, and uses BLADEs for audio, control and associated logic data flowing on a single CAT6 interconnect cable. The system can ingest and convert virtually all audio formats: microphone and line level analogue, AES/EBU, SPDIF, AoIP, MADI, SDI and even AES67. It includes volume metering, phase control and full EQ/dynamics.

GSX-2424 has moved the meters from the console to the on-screen graphical interface, giving you a low-profile workspace that allows you to focus your attention where your eyes spend most of their time. Touchscreen GUIs let you interact with your audio to do everything from pinch-and-drag EQ to configuring router crossover points on your network. Optional ScreenBuilder™ GSX software lets you create your own touchscreens. And the optional ConsoleBuilder™ is a GUI-based app that lets you program and configure your hardware surface.
