VIBE 6 TV AUDIO PROCESSOR

The VIBE 6 TV digital audio processor is a multi-band audio processor for sound processing in digital television, webcasting, post-production and, where required, an audio peak containment and levelling system.

The processing chain comprises a two-band AGC feeding the six-band limiter.

The final clipper-limiter operates at 96 KHz and has been optimised for the resulting distortion containment, resulting in a clear sound without the usual artefacts of digital clipping.

The audio processing is handled by DSP, allowing for stable and accurate operation over time and the possibility of implementing new functions through software updates.

The DTV version is supplied with SDI interface and automatic bypass. The same system can process audio already present in an SDI signal, or serve as an audio embedder, feeding audio from analogue or AES/EBU into the SDI signal.
