SOLIDYNE 562 AM AUDIO PROCESSOR

The solidyne 562 AM audio processor has 3 simultaneous analogue outputs; one 15 kHz stereo balanced output for Internet streaming or recording and two independent balanced analogue outputs for AM. This output has NRSC1 equalisation and a 7 kHz high-cut filter, switchable to 5 kHz. Both AM outputs allow asymmetrical modulation to increase the power and range of the broadcasts.

While the negative modulation is maintained at 100%, the positive modulation can be varied between 100% and 150%, digitally controllable from the LCD display. The 562 AM’s advanced asymmetrical clipping system with dual-stage log clipping, a Solidyne invention, allows for increased transmitted power and radio range. This system is fully compliant with the NRSC-2 standard for AM spurious irradiation.
