QUANTUM XL is a powerful portable audio over IP codec with an audio mixer included that is a leap forward from the Nomada codec family.
QUANTUM XL inherits the world-class IP technology used in the Ikusnet family of video codecs: automatic jitter buffering, adaptive bit rate, bonding of up to 7 IP links (Ethernet, 3G/4G, Wifi) to ensure audio streaming and the best possible audio quality.
A wireless communications module is also available with up to four 3G/4G links for bonding. This module is external for better reception.
The unit has 5 micro/line audio inputs and one USB audio input/output which can be mixed, encoded and transmitted to form two stereo streams.
As an option, the audio inputs can be replaced by a Dante/AES67 or Ravenna/AES67 interface.
