OPTIMOD 8700i is Orban’s flagship streaming audio processor for analog FM broadcast and digital media (DAB + / HD Radio / Streaming). Providing 2-band and 5-band audio processing structures, the 8700i gives you the most consistent sound, track to track and source to source in the industry. The OPTIMOD 8700i Audio Processor has exclusive features like Xponential Loudness ™ that brings hyper-compressed music to life, reveals detail and increases impact while reducing fatigue and distortion. With its Multipath Mitigator phase corrector, multipath distortion can be reduced without compromising stereo separation, and thanks to the subharmonic synthesizer, a modern sounding bass can be added to older recordings. Provides you with Orban’s MX limiter technology that reduces distortion, improves transient shock, and minimizes high-frequency loss induced by pre-emphasis. Other standout features are the Dante interface that provides redundant dual AoIP with AES67 support, its digital MPX interface, a built-in streaming server for monitoring purposes, and dual monitored and alarmed redundant power supplies, as well as safety bypass relays for one 24 hour carefree, 7 days a week operation.
