The FMTX300 is a fully integrated 300W stereo FM transmitter system with full DSP audio processing, digital stereo encoder and 16 times oversampling RDS generator in one very compact product. The result is a truly world-class transmission system for cost-conscious radio broadcasters who demand uncompromising performance.

The FMTX300‘s unique ability to transparently adapt to all types of audio source material means an end to the costly frills often associated with audio processors, and makes time-consuming user configuration a thing of the past. The latest DSP algorithms have been created in our laboratory using specialised modulation power analysis, by broadcast engineers with over 20 years experience in FM processing. The end result is a plug and go FM broadcast solution with deep bass, crisp treble and powerful clarity that will stand out on every listener’s tuning dial and expand the usable coverage area.

The FMTX300 also features a 16 times oversampling, all-digital stereo encoder section for perfect audio separation and detail. In addition, the RDS encoder uses direct digital waveform synthesis for clean and perfect generation of the 57kHz subcarrier. In addition to PS (station name) information, extended functions such as RadioTEXT, alternate frequency and traffic announcement content are also broadcast. Being stand-alone, the integrated RDS generator does not require a dedicated computer or data feed. If desired, the user can change the content at any time, using a programming device and a laptop or Windows(TM) PC connected to a port on the rear panel.

TTL remote monitoring and switching allows the FMTX300 to be easily used as an integrated part of automated backup applications. An audio mute alarm and RDS TA remote control are also provided.
