RDS E3 is a dynamic RDS encoder that supports all advanced usage features and services. RDS E3 supports the most advanced dynamic RDS services including TMC, ODA, IH, TDC, EWS, Radio Text, and Radio Text Plus. RDS E3 and RDS E5 manage up to 8 full data sets, each with 1 PS main and 10 EON.
In addition to the standard CENELEC NRSC methods, RDS programming has been enriched with PS and RT Sets (which are also available in dynamic mode). RDS E3 can interact with various automation systems and offer an ASCII protocol for transmitting song / artist information. In case of alarms, they support SNMP alerts for NMS.
