DB9009-TX is a second generation multi-protocol audio over IP encoder perfect for professional and inexperienced broadcasters. The compressed output signal is transmitted directly through IP-based networks to one or more compatible IP audio players or decoders.
Encoding of audio sources into a high-quality, configurable format is done in real time with HE-AAC versions 1 and 2 or MPEG-1 layer 3. This, in combination with lossless compressionless PCM transmission, ensures long distance audio transmission with no loss quality.
