DAB ITEL ID MUX DAB ENCODER MULTIPLEXER

The system consists of a multiplexer capable of supplying a complete EDI or ETI stream with Time Stamp for SFN isofrequency networks ready to be transmitted. Also available on the same platform are DAB and DAB+ encoders capable of receiving the various contents to be encoded from the dedicated streams of the different broadcasters. They also manage DLS and slideshows, i.e. additional images that can be transmitted together with the channel’s audio by retrieving information from the streams’ metadata or acquiring them from a specific folder.

The multiplexing and encoding platform is managed through a simple and intuitive web interface from which all parameters can be controlled. The same head-end controls the different processes, managing its restart in case of blocking and sending alarm emails.

The 6-band audio processor with volume control according to the ITU1770 standard is available as an option in the encoders.
