DAB+ AUDIO PROCESSOR D-PRO6 HD

D-PRO6 HD is a multi-band digital audio processor optimised for DAB+ and HD Radio broadcasting.

The audio processing chain comprises a two-band AGC feeding the six-band limiter-compressor, followed by a final clipper-limiter operating at 96KHz, optimised to mask distortion for a cleaner sound free of clipping artefacts.

Audio processing is performed by DSPs, allowing stable operation over time and the possibility of implementing new functions through software upgrades.

The Loudness Limiter can equalise the perceived loudness between different audio programme sources, such as live shows, commercials, movies or music videos.
It operates according to the ITU-R BS.1770 standard.

All outputs are bypassed to their respective inputs in case of malfunction.
