Perfect for live sports coverage ScoopyFlex is a commentary unit that integrates a dual mono codec for live transmission of one or two audio signals with high audio quality (up to 20 kHz bandwidth).
Rich and versatile, ScoopyFlex is designed to meet both the simplest and the most complex needs.
The unit can mix up to 4 XLR microphone inputs and many other audio sources into two channels. Both audio channels can be routed to a single destination (dual codec mono transmission), or to two different destinations (dual codec). Stereo algorithms (MPEG Layer 2, AAC, Opus) allow ScoopyFlex to be used to transmit a stereo stream by mobilising the co-ordination bus to mix the right channel.
The interface is intuitive, with backlit soft keys and dedicated knobs for settings and volume control. The AETA Remote Access function allows remote access to the device’s settings from an Internet connection.
In addition to its codec function, ScoopyFlex can also be used as a commentary unit, thanks to its AES67 interface (Ravenna or Dante) and its analogue and AES audio inputs/outputs.
Thanks to its flexibility and audio mixing and distribution capabilities, ScoopyFlex can also be used as a light mobile studio in small installations.
