The new generation of AxelTech FALCON X6 audio processors continues the tradition of quality, reliability and cost-effectiveness, while maintaining the Falcon name: recognised and valued in the broadcasting environment worldwide.

Axel’s FALCON X6 processor has some additional special features built in.

The LAN port and built-in web server allow the processor to be controlled and audio tuned from anywhere. The built-in digital stereo generator ensures an extremely accurate MPX signal. The Composite Clipper, which is part of the Stereo Generator circuit, guarantees the maximum level of modulation, in accordance with worldwide technical standards. This allows each radio station to build its unique sound shape.

The integrated RDS encoder performs full digital processing according to RDS 2.0 (UECP SPB490) and provides 2 data sets with a wide range of static services, including radio text. Logging of the output signal is a native feature and gives a lot of information about the signal parameters. The stored information and time lapse can be customised and depends on the file size of the SD card or USB flash drive.

The audio processing functions are fully customisable: 5-band compression control, adjustable boost and threshold, dual-band ACG, 3-band EQ (low, mid and high frequency) and brightness control. Phase control of mono sounds allows to give the human voice a more natural and pleasant sounding shape. The final limiter improves the presence of the sound. 40 memories allow to recall the factory presets or save a new one to restore it according to the customer’s needs.
